We are the Rebel family
Hotel de Lange Jammer has been run by the Rebel family for more than twenty years. The personal touch comes first with us, and that is exactly why guests have been coming back here year after year. Our personal approach makes for an easy, restful atmosphere in the hotel.

The name comes from a road that is no longer there
The name goes back to the earliest days of Lelystad. On the former work island, now Lelystad-Haven, there were no street names yet in the nineteen fifties. So they thought up names themselves and put them up as street signs.
The long road running through it they called De Lange Jammer, a name that lives on in old Lelystad to this day. The island’s old restaurant was converted into the seventeen rooms that are here now.

What three stars mean
In the Netherlands, hotel stars are awarded by Hotelsterren, the official hotel classification of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland. A three-star hotel meets, among others, these requirements:
- Every room has its own shower or bath and toilet.
- The room is cleaned every day.
- Wifi in the rooms and in the public areas.
- A television with a remote control in the room.
- A breakfast buffet, including allergy-friendly products.
- A reception area with seating, and the hotel can be reached 24 hours a day.
- Payment by debit or credit card.
- A set complaints procedure and bilingual hotel information.
